9. Thanks for those. Boy, I feel for the man. SO many
emergencies have occurred, seems like one after another, added to the constant pressure of having to fight with the Republicans, plus stuff we don't even know about. Almost makes you (me) wish he hadn't run this time -- what a toll it must take. :(

Malia looks almost as tall as he! And they BOTH look taller than Michelle (could have been the camera angle, though).

:hi:

6. It's probably better that he be at his desk when the damage is calculated.
Otherwise we will have to listen to a week long news cycle about the Presidents vacation.

7. Freeper at work was trying to tell me that only Pres. Obama
was returning, that the kids and Michelle were staying put.

I wasn't 100% sure, but I told him at the time that sounded totally contrived, all the while telling him that with my fingers crossed behind my back.

10. What, like Obama was running home and leaving them in potentially
harm's way?

An MSNBC anchor asked the reporter traveling w/Obama so that's the only reason I really knew for sure they were all heading back. Makes sense, though -- who would leave their family behind?

Your freeper co-worker was WRONG, be sure to let him know. :7

12. On MSNBC this afternoon they announced that the president decided to leave
Since he thought it was important to be in his office during this crisis, and that his family was going with him. Suggest to your colleague that he should keep tuned to MSNBC. ;)
