I support Obama now before it's too late in 2012.
I support him by informing him the road he is traveling will lead to his demise. I am trying to advise him of this through a public forum. Some want to keep silent and let him drive off a cliff. I however think keeping silent is a terrible thing to do. I will not ever stand silently and let someone I care about and have hopes for, throw it all away.

1. I don't think Pres Obama reads DU. Might work better to contact him directly than post on an
anonymous forum. Typically that works better to let others how you know. Tell them directly than post something anonymously that they'll probably never see.

4. Most on here are unable to have a conversion with him directly.
So........this is as good a medium as any. Some of us think it's the best way. I guess you don't.

I find it better to talk directly with people than write stuff they will never see. That is if you really want to contact them.

You can also call or write to the President:
The White House

13. Instead write somewhere you know he won't see. OK. How about I write you a reply
then put the note on my table. Can you see it?

18. The point is the best way to communicate someone is directly, not on an internet forum
which they won't read. IF you truly want to let someone know how you feel, for instance President Obama, probably the least helpful is to post on an anonymous forum.

20. That is why there it's no point. I made it clear you can't communicate
with him directly.

2. He said to hold his feet to the fire,
but he seems to be both selectively deaf and selectively immune to hot feet.

10. He didn't say burn him at the stake.
Seems like that is the goal.

21. If he actually listened, or responded appropriately,
when we communicate, the flames wouldn't get that high. When he ignores and/or discounts us, we turn up the heat.

He invited it, and if he wanted it turned down, he could make it happen. I suggest that he's got his flame-retardant suit on, and has never had any intention of cooling his feet.

The goal is to move the nation leftward...just as far and as quickly as he has moved us to the right.

A wall of flame hasn't stopped him. Why do you care if he doesn't?

7. And take the Black vote with him.
I'm sick of this angry "off with his head" bullshit!

Obama, give them back their fucking country.
They know how to ruin it way better than you.
They've been doing it for decades now!

Let the dumbasses fight each other to the death......
You've done enough!

8. I have a solution....
....let's all vote a repug into the White House. In four years we can vote a dem back in while bragging that we all knew it was a grave mistake, thereby putting another war ravaged, economically ruined nation in the lap of our chosen dem savior. I foresee that around three years into that dem presidents term, we will all be in the same goddamn boat we're in now, thus beginning the ignorance syndrome all over again. That should solve all our problems. :sarcasm: Thanks.

15. Obama has come to a fork in the road
There are only two paths, left or right.

If he takes the 'left' path, he will grow a pair, stop shunning Democrats, start acting like one, and do what is right for this country's future.
If he chooses the 'right' path, he will continue making deals with the GOP that decimate the poor, the elderly, and the middle class for little in return.

If he chooses the 'left' path, he wins the election with strong support from independents as well as Democrats.
If he chooses the 'right' path, he loses the election by a landslide, and we are at the mercy of a rabid, hardcore, extremist GOP.

There is no center path in a two party system, as we can all clearly see now.

IMHO
