4. I didn't know that....thanks...
The financial "prophet of doom" seemed to gloss over the fact it was a lack of regulation that created the Great Depression....

3. I kind of see the program as a means to get people used to the idea that
America will collapse just like they continually prime the pump for the hysteria about end times and endless war.

5. IIRC, one of the most serious
problems facing the planet, in their opinion, is water. It's my opinion, too. I saw this show a while back and, frankly, don't disagree with much of their analysis. Maybe I'm dense, but I don't understand why other posters are disparaging this documentary.

7. I'm watching too.
I've seen it before. I, too, don't know why some are making light of this. My vote for biggest threat: The water issue. There is no substitute for water, and without it you die in a few days. How do you deal with that?

My favorite moment in this documentary: A raggedy, hungry-looking man finds a magazine and picks it up, presumably to use it as fuel. If I had been the director, I would have used a copy of the Wall Street Journal, and asked the actor to make sure the title is clearly visible to the camera.
