thankfully nobody is dead, per Mayor of Mineral Va, including quite a bit of cinderblocks failing.

2. MSNBC, they just interviewed the Mayor
the video showed quite a bit of PHYSICAL damage too

3. It was a very shallow quake
so, yeah, I'd expect quite a bit of damage, especially around the epicenter.

There are no earthquake building codes on the east coast.
