this is the point when the candidates that are running go for the jugular of each other. This is the time to sit back and enjoy them picking at each other and jotting down the jabs so that we can repeat them when they find their ultimate candidate. The Repugs will actually help us develop the talking points against their own anointed candidate. That's when the Dems will open up their salvo.

2. All I know is this: (listen you Republican lurkers)

We went through our primary, and the media picked out exactly 3 candidates for us: Edwards, Hillary and Obama. We had to discard thoughtful candidates like Richardson because the media had chosen our "three", and we had to agree with them, even though they discarded a smart Latino candidate in favor of a man who it was known (inside media circles at the time, the public found out later) was fucking around on his cancer stricken wife...

My HONEST hope is that you Republicans that read this will take our experience into account, and DARE to vote outside of your media defined three. We could have offered a fresh Dem prez if we had stepped outside what the establishment told us to vote for, but we didn't, and despite the denial you see on DU, everybody here knows we got a truckload of the status quo. My hope is you guys will stand up, defy the MSM in the name of reason, and pick a REAL Republican president: At this point ANYTHING honest would be a welcome change for me.
