FORT MEADE, Md. — A military jury has convicted an Army doctor who disobeyed orders to deploy to Afghanistan because he questions President Obama’s eligibility for office.

The jury on Wednesday found Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin of Greeley, Colo., guilty of missing a flight that would have gotten him to Fort Campbell, Ky., for his eventual deployment. He was convicted of a charge of missing movement by design.

12. He won't go fight for country in two current wars because he

does not believe that President Obama is commander in chief because he believes that President Obama was born in another country and is not able to command the military? So now he is in jail? He is definitely where he belongs from now.....he should get six weeks of intense mental counseling, then put on the next airplane and sent directly to wherever the front lines are in Afghanistan to begin protecting his fellow Americans in battle as he agreed to do when he joined the armed forces. Once he is in the theater, he will have no choice but to tow the line or find some time in the brig with the sand fleas eating at his flesh. He's probably just afraid and that is to be understood. Many have died there and he could be the next if he were in theater. He is just using the President as his excuse, I don't think he coward, just scared and confused and maybe a little mentally ill. I pray he get well and go to Afghanistan to help his country and come back to America and become good doctor.
