3. Well, the CNBC reporter had the mostly red "heat map" video

...wall behind her this morning--which I've never seen before--showing the 1.5% losses in most European stocks today due to the failure of Merkel and Sarkozy to announce the creating of new Euro bonds, which the press had been expecting. Rachel has had two stories on the heat map and it looks like they're following up on her lead :)

4. I think it's a snapshot of the S&P 500 or some other index.

Basically, the map is a set of lights that are red for down and green for up, depending on how each company does on a given day. Rachael was showing the map the other night where every single company was red. It's a pretty good visual indicator of the big picture on any given day.
