fucking idiot wouldn't shut up and let anyone else say a damn thing! Why, oh why did MSNBC sign him on as a contributor? I'm surprised Rev. Sharpton let him get away with that crap! It was AWFUL. He was actually defending the shit Perry said about the military not respecting Obama.

1. He was also snotty; kept kind of snorting dismissively.
I wanted to slap him. What an asshole.

2. Steele has been getting nastier and nastier. Pat Buchannon too.
The reason why is they are both veteran GOP politicians and they both know their party is about to drive off a cliff.

4. MSNBC needs to follow the RNC lead and dump his ass.
I especially disliked his reference to a "pissing" contest. I thought that was a tacky statement to make on a national TV show. Throughout the entire episode he was either screeching or smirking.

5. I think he tailors his responses to the noise level of the show
I have seen him on Rachel Maddow show more than once and he conducted himself quite respectfully. He was polite and spoke softly because that is how Rachel acted toward him.

Mr Sharpton on the other hand, broadcasts at a decibel level considerably higher. Every conversation on that show is loud and most are confrontational.

Not defending Steele, he's an asshat, but I think he's adapting to his surroundings.

6. True! Rachel makes her points with humor
Even when the topic isn't so funny, she's effective. Maybe people hear laughter better than bombast ... I do!

7. Nope, when I saw his face on the screen I changed channels
Every time he or Pat Racist Buchanan is on, I do the same - switch as fast as I can grab the remote control. MSNBC is losing me as a viewer since I am more and more often finding that I watch the rest of whatever hour on a different channel.

17. I think he's an MSNBC "contributor". They all seem to have
the same "contributors" on, so he may be the go-to guy.

9. I can't stand Michael Steele, either,
but I found that whole segment to be unwatchable. All of them were talking all over each other.

18. Yeah, it was almost out of control. I like Steele a little now, hated
him when he was RNC Chair. At times he can be reasonable and actually presents some good points. Sometimes.

10. I love that Al asked Steele to give an example of what D has ever questioned a R
patriotism or ideas as treason? The idea that both sides do it is BS and they know it. It's like the asshat TP guy asking President Obama about Biden's supposed closed door remarks off record. president Obama pointed out he is called a socialist person who isn't born here and hates America... Later the TP guy is still upset about everything and says the President is a socialist.

Maybe its because R's are scared pansies who are frightened by any change and are afraid that someone will get something that they feel they deserve more. And then wrap in the loony God squad who have been chores into rhetoric rather than actually reading the parables wittin the script they supposedly love and follow. Hypocrisy and satire skip right over the top of these people's head.... And then the politicians exploit the stupid.

13. It didn't seem to me that Al let him get away with it.
Al kept going after him and telling him how wrong he is. Of course Steele wouldn't shut up but Al kept talking over him not letting Steele filibuster the way he wanted to.

16. You must have posted this before Ron-the-cross-eyed-Black Republican-guy
came on, because Reverend Al shredded him, too!

He was really a pit bull today, I don't think he let them get away with anything!

Are you referring to Michael Steele?

20. Yes. Michael Steele.
:puke: He was rude, obnoxious and refused to stop spewing his bullshit...no matter who was trying to talk. I think it was Bob Shrum (?) that was on opposite him...and he hardly got a word in edgewise because of the loudmouth, blathering Steele. The entire show was a screaming match because of Steele. It sucked!

to himself on a platter.
