2. I'm wondering how Andy Cohen feels today
Then again, Mr. Cohen is the kind of famewhore who would see this as a personal affront. I'm sure it's shocking to him to realize that having your personal life aired out on national TV can bring unwanted attention to those involved.

My condolences to Mr. Armstrong's family and friends.

4. Sorry for any death but
these 'reality stars' sign up for the gig and get paid a substantial amount to air out their personal lives. It's a shame, but they often get more than they bargained for. Andy Cohen is doing the job the fans of these shows demand. (BTW, I hate these shows. All about the 'sad' lives of the over-privileged.)

8. I beg to differ
Those who "sign up" really have no control over what post-production does with the footage. Also, believe it or not, most who sign up for reality shows aren't paid. Their "expenses" are covered.

The families of those on shows like "Real Housewives" get dragged into situations they never envisioned, and couldn't possibly prepare for in advance. In this case, three minor children are now minus one father. Judging by the speed in which Bravo was on the phone with cast members this morning, demanding they make no comment, it would be easy to surmise that Bravo is now attempting to cover their asses legally.

It's exploitation, pure and simple. People like Andy Cohen are more than happy to reap the financial benefits of having no soul or conscience.

11. I don't disagree that there's
exploitation involved. But I hardly think $30K per episode is "not getting paid." In addition, these Housewives of Wherever shows have been on the air for years, and they've always been rife with drama and embarrassing situations. Of course they know what they'd be exposing themselves to. If they thought it would be easy money, shame on them. Maybe they're the ones with no soul or conscience, to expose their families to such things. It's tragic that this man (evidently) took his life. But would it be news if his estranged wife were not a Housewife?

13. They signed a waiver because they want the money. And they KNOW what these shows are....
The want fame. Don't act like they are innocent victims. No one planted a hidden camera and filmed them.
