Need Help with Some Educational Info on the Economy

I have a wealthy friend who reliably votes Democratic but otherwise is a low-information voter. We got to talking this morning about the economy, and I began to explain why the GOP emphasis on deficit reduction is wrong, etc.

She's open to learning more about the truth. I told her I would find and email some introductory articles by liberal economists (Krugman, Baker, etc). Has anyone here bookmarked some literature like this?

Any help would save me lots of time googling this. Thanks.

1. Robert Reich

Has some good books. I would recomend those, much more indepth discussions then you will get from an internet article.

Of course, Robert Reich is an obvious choice.

If I can get her started with some intro literature, then I can recommend the books.
