7. Every time I tried to warn about Rick Perry, I was accused of Texas bashing.

Never mind that I live in Texas and I know what I am bashing. Maybe the folks at DU who got my Rick Perry threads locked and tombstoned will think twice the next time they try to see the best about some GOP governor because he happens to live in a state where Democrats would like to make inroads. Thinking that Texans will only love Democrats if Democrats profess to love Rick Perry is stupid. And the only way Dems will beat Perry is by reminding the country every two minutes that he is from Texas and that Texas grows a whole bunch of village idiot governors. One of them, Clements, was actually demented while in office---and generally admired for it.
