With the 24/7 news cycle, endless campaign fundraising, and now the GOP legislative agenda of making Obama a 1-term president, would this change anything?

3 year terms for congressmen.
6 year terms for presidents.
Senate stays at 6 years. But it would be better if 1-congressmen states like WY & AK got 1 senator, and populous states like CA & NY got 3.

Maybe it would create some breathing room in which governing could occur.

Make it an equal playing field. But that's the problem with this capitalist election process. As long as the field is unequal, we're going to get fascists.
