3. This is the time to address the violent and hateful atmoshpere. The appropriate time.
We must not give up on calling for an end to this climate, in honor of Rep. Giffords and her words. (and all of the victims)

4. Funny, now is EXACTLY the time to point fingers. Stop talking about "reloading" and
using crosshairs on public officials and "refreshing the tree of liberty with blood" etc. It's really that simple. Stop telling the public that the government (meaning Democrats) is out to get them.

5. Stomach turning hypocrites.
Edited on Tue Jan-11-11 12:57 PM by BrklynLiberal
The only time they are against finger-pointing is when the finger would be pointed in their direction...otherwise, they are all for it, and do it with impunity and enthusiastically.

Something about "protest too much" . . .

Wait, that won't work. How about Iran? Yeah, that's it. The shooter was an Iranian sleeper agent. That will work.

10. It's never the time to point fingers, is it?
It's not time during a crisis. Or right after. Or long after.

We're all supposed to shut the fuck up, you see. And by the way, didn't we take the hint from what happened to Giffords?

13. Yes it is. They did not heed the warnings of reasonable people and tone
down their gun specific/violence inspiring language. Had they done so, my finger would not be wagging in their direction right now.

14. For them, the time to point fingers...
...is all the time, as they spew their vitriol at "liberals" and "socialists" and everyone they disagree with. But just let something happen like this latest shooting, clearly influenced by all the hate speech coming from the right, and all of the sudden "it's not the time to point fingers".

Their bottom line rule of discourse: it is never, repeat, *never* the time for the left, or liberals, or moderates to point fingers. It is always, repeat, *always* the time for the rabid right to point fingers.
