The MSM Misses Point, Provides Cover, And Further Endangers Liberals

either way, the MSM continues to entirely miss the point that tuscon sheriff dupnick as well as others on the left have said. it is not clear whether jared loughner was motivated by right wing hate, but that inflamed talking points and ideas spread in the town square often can find the most deranged minds amongst us and inflame them. while trying to make this a partisan matter and a "both sides do it" down to providing polls on it, the MSM either misses the entire point or tries to ignore it.

by providing this political cover for the right's hate speech, they further endanger members of congress who may have been the subject of attacks previously. and in the long run, may also embolden the right as they let them walk away feeling like the victims of this. while there is much back and forth, perhaps most important to take away from the original DHS report was the warning of the danger of "lone wolf" gunmen. people affected, who may already have mental health issues, by the actions of leaders and politicians who show little regard for others and seek only to fan the flames.

by providing cover now and taking away the element that the right has inflamed over the past 2 years, with their violent divisive rhetoric, the MSM provides cover for their behavior. indeed, in the doing so they amplify the right's victim complex allowing them to feel like they are being silenced.

already yesterday the tea party in arizona was fundraising off the death's that took place.

because by asking them to be respectful in the wake of a tragedy, by toning down their language, by not threatening people, we are making them the victims. its our fault, how dare we blame them for smashing out congresswoman gifford's windows before or threatening her or harassing her daily, non stop. by doing this, the MSM seeks to wipe clean the slate of the dangerous attacks already perpetrated and instead turn the message back onto us for simply asking for some adulthood and responsibility.

fundraising off the death's of innocent people. and the MSM is providing cover for it. going forward, whatever happens is on the MSM's head as a whole from here on out. because there looks to be no end for this madness, at least from those the MSM continues to allow walk away with victim complexes and allows to not have to take responsibility for their actions and language.
