This is what I hear from CONs. Of course every ill in the world is caused by taxes, socialism (nevermind that they don't even know what that is), and 'wimmin', according to the shriveled, patriarchal "brains" of CONs. Never occurs to them that having no jobs and extreme austerity measures might have something to do with it. Not to mention insidious racism. They pile their own brand of sexism on top of that by blaming women (single mothers). Been round & round with one recently about it. He finally shut up since he could no longer justify his ignorance.

Sure as hell isn't a "socialism" problem. It's a corprat welfare (or maybe a corprat socialism) problem. And picking on single mothers just seems par for the course with CONS. They just have control issues.

9. The rioters and Tea Party have a lot in common.

They are angry. The want to show that they have power. They are entirely destructive in their approach, not constructive. They don't seem to be able to point to any rational basis for their actions. It's all emotion and lashing out.

The main differences are the disguises and the degree of damage. The rioters should put on Nelson masks and try to destroy the country, not just some cars and buildings. Then they would be a true British Tea Party.
