He tried to cite an IMF report that allegedly states that raising taxes in a bad economy is worse than cutting spending. Actually, the IMF report concerns raising taxes on the middle class, not on the wealthy. The IMF has stated EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE. The IMF has recently suggested that Obama RAISE taxes.
http://europeancourier.org/test/2011/07/28/imf-to-congress-raise-taxes-cut-spending/But this lie was also stated by Alan Greenspan last weekend on Meet The Press. Greenspan flatly misrepresented the IMF Report and also failed to point out that the IMF has recently urged the exact opposite. How can Greenspan so blatantly lie and deceive the people AND NOT BE CALLED OUT BY DAVID GREGORY, who just let the statement stand?
Ferrara throwing a fit and screaming at the top of his voice is nothing new. Hartmann has him on at least once a month and every time he disagrees with Hartmann but has no factual basis to disagree (which is every time), he begins screaming into the phone non-stop. It's rather entertaining and typical of right wing psychopathy.
