Texas Tea Party hands out Wet Wipes to Republicans to wash their hands like Pontius "Pilot"
Spelling has already been a problem with these folks. You would think they could at least spell their Christian references correctly - a quick read of the Bible could serve as a spell check.

Many Tea Partiers, who waited in great anticipation to hear the results coming from the Republican caucus meeting, did not give up the fight even after hearing Rep. Joe Straus came out ahead over their preferred candidate.

The 300 or so ralliers waited in anticipation in the tunnels of the Capitol extension and the lobby of the building where the caucus met. As the representatives left the meeting, many of the ralliers chased them out and chanted for their prefered candidate, Rep. Ken Paxton.

Some of the Tea Partiers, more subtly, handed Wet Wipes to representatives leaving the building..

Their message pasted on each package: "Pontius Pilot had to wash his hands after a bad decision too. Hope you won't need this for the same reason. We are watching. True Conservative Voters of Texas for Ken Paxton."

In the Bible, Pontius Pilate, which is the correct spelling, washed his hands of the decision to crucify Jesus Christ.

2. Kaufman (County) tea party leader urges 'good hunting'
Kaufman County's Tea Party leader is under fire for making comments many feel were inappropriate in the wake of the Arizona shootings.

Ray Myers sent an e-mail to his Tea Party members, asking them to "go after" supporters of Texas House Speaker Joe Straus.

In closing, he wished them "good hunting."

But Myers said he never intended to offend anyone.

8. Certainly not Joe Straus.
E-mails targeting Texas House Speaker Joe Straus cite his Judaism, rivals' Christianity

AUSTIN – Some conservative Republican activists working to unseat House Speaker Joe Straus are circulating e-mails that emphasize his Judaism.

Several e-mails have surfaced in recent days that mention Straus' rabbi and underscore the Christian faith of his leading critics in the House Republican Caucus.

"Straus is going down in Jesus' name," said one, whose origins were unclear.

Straus, R-San Antonio , "clearly lacks the moral compass to be speaker," said another, written by Southeast Texas conservative activist Peter Morrison.

but her true responibility will inevitably glom onto her grifter-quitter hide in a thick coat of crud.

There is no escaping karma, Pontius Palin.
