A modest proposal : instead of the Federal Reserve trying to boost the economy
by loaning money at 0% to the banks, how about loaning it at 0% to the Department of Education to loan out to students at 0%?

1. We should just nationalize the banks
but zero percent loans to students would be good too. :)

And to refinance homeowners to make up for the loss in property values over the last 3 years and counting. And to fledgling renewable energy businesses and their customers looking to install renewable energy equipment on their homes. Absolutely.

3. Gee - renewable energy start-ups - there's a way to pump some
money where it's needed. How about 0% loans to cities and states for infrastructure repairs/expansions?
