 Joe Madison just told the RETHUG hack who wanted to know why they were going back to the 'dog on the top of the car' story that ReTHUGS had gone back to Obama's fifty year old birth certificate. I was cracking up!
6. It isn't just repubs. You have Dem pundits saying "weird" = "Mormon" which, of course, it does NOT.
As usual, you have enough Dems screaming at Obama to not be mean to Mittens that is just is pathetic.
As if "varmit" hunting, putting your poor dog on the top of the car for family trips and pretending waitresses are pinching your ass aren't sufficiently odd to fit "weird".
The rethugs say whatever they want, with little to no pushback from the dems. Then the dems say something not even truly offensive, and the rethugs attack, then the dems apologize.
18. Romney is about as popular as diarrhea with the Republican base...
They hate him too and think he's weird (Mormon).
The bagger crowd are desperately seeking the anti-Romney. Watch them flock to Perry. I predict within a month of Perry entering the race he will be leading Romney by considerable margins.
Romney will not be the nominee. Bachmann won't either; the nuts like her but know she's too insane. It will either be Perry, or the baggers will beg the next flavor of the month to jump in the race till they find one that doesn't immediately implode.
Evangelical Christians do not consider Mormons to be Christians. And they DO think Mormons are weird.
All that aside, Romney has no ability to harness the energy on the fanatic bagger right. McCain used Palin to do that, but Romney is even less popular than McCain with their base and just won't be able to pull that off.
Romney will not be the nominee. He is only leading the GOP primary polls due to name recognition among marginal Republicans that MAY actually vote in primaries but aren't uber partisan.
and some guy from the Christian Science Monitor said their calling him "weird" is based on him being a Mormon! Like hell it is.
And that accusation is "rich" coming from a PUKE parrot. More than half of their right wing evangelical side are the ones who have the most problems with that.
Speaking for myself I don't give a damn what religion someone is as long as they keep it out of government period as per the Constitution.
