Now the youth have even fewer jobs--economy essentially flat for 3 quarters standing, post cutting phase--and nowhere to go. Still think it was a good deal, Mr. Cameron?

The U.K. is 6 to 9 months ahead of US in the same process chosen by airhead conservatives here. -- source, Talk Radio News Service, Thom Hartmann program today.

3. Yup...they will spend far more on the damage than they would have spent
supporting their youth.

Add into it this is a generation who have spent countless hours millions, billions, on playing violent video games and watching violent films.

I lived in LA during the Rodney King Riots though--it starts with the youths but it turns into its own beast after that.

5. The protest has been effective in just the loss of tourism.
Nobody in their right mind would go almost anywhere in Britain now, but it's high tourist season. So Cameron and the Tories have probably cost the country 100 million tourist pounds trying to stint the Youth Centers 41 million and screw the poor. Not what you'd call effective or even "conservative".

4. If your "conservative" plans are to provide, say, $1.8 million...
fewer jobs by deliberately and intentionally stalling the optimistically post-recession economy in its tracks, then should you also cut youth services so the kids have absolutely no place to go and nothing to do with themselves?

They had to cancel the yearly football match with Holland because that probably would have burned London to the ground.
