8. You look at these crowds and wonder how it's even a contest.

You never see pro-Walker turnouts coming anywhere close to this type of demonstration of grassroots support. I guess all of the opposition is living in some alternate reality and only show up on election days. I just find it hard to believe that half of the middle-class voters will vote to dismantle the programs and policies that they directly benefit from. You really have to be both anti-social and not very bright to understand the endgame Republicanism has in mind.
13. From Wisconsin: yes, Republicans do dirty tricks and don't play fair, or even legal.
The good news: Republicans are not omnipotent, despite what some DUers apparently believe. They cannot steal elections at will although they are happy to allow us to believe that.
Here's another tidbit to ponder: all of Wisconsin is not Waukesha county. What may happen there in no way happens all over the state.
Here in La Crosse, Jennifer Shilling will easily defeat senator Dan Kapanke. The Republicans will not steal the election here and there will be so many eyes watching the other elections that there will be no chance to pull funny business.
Everybody votes! No excuses! If we do what needs to be done then tomorrow night we will celebrate. Of course the week until the next elections will be intense.
