Keeping it Simple: Tax Cuts Trashed Our Credit. Tax Cuts are Bad for the Economy.

The Tea Party Downgrade was Caused by A Failure to Tax the Rich

From the S&P report:

"We have changed our assumption on this because the majority of Republicans in Congress continue to resist any measure that would raise revenues, a position we believe Congress reinforced by passing the act." http://bit.ly/nRZIXL

The President says big business and the ultra-rich have 2.5 trillion sitting on the sidelines.

We need jobs.

We need revenue.

They have so much money they literally don't know what to do with it.

This means they can afford to pay more taxes.

Tax the hoarders and create jobs.

Seems like a no-brainer.

It's the revenues, duh.

6. I keep saying...
Raising taxes got us out of the depression.
Raising taxes gave us the boom of the 90's.

Low taxes gave us the depression.
Low taxes gave us the Bush years and the current crisis.

It's that fucking simple. I say it over and over and over again. Anything else is just noise and filler.

7. Well, since we can't speak as loudly as our representatives, we'll just have to say it more often!
