the start of today's debt problem was created when Reaganomics stated that
"debt created by tax cuts didn't count"

because like the TV Evangelicals of today.... god will reward the righteous 100 fold.

a religious cult has taken over the GOP, it isnt an ideology anymore it is Dogma and they can't sin against god to make godless socialist Democrats happy.

this is the stuff Revolutions are made of.

better graph

note to Trolls:
if you cant take the truth... just fall on your Sword like a good Roman, do it for the Empire, then have a friend post it on Youtube so i can watch.

11. Yep. There's a reason they are mocked with the
"Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" line.

4. K & R. Reagan's administration began the right wing TREND.
It has been with us through every administration. EVERY ADMINISTRATION.

That's why I call it a TREND. It's been killing our country.

the story goes that Nixon made a deal to stop the Cold War with USSR, Chaney and others told him not to try, he kept at it and information was leaked to to 2 Pulitzer Prize wannabes, the rest is history.

12. No doubt about it. I personally think that right wingers are psychopaths, some intensely so...
some to a lesser degree. However, I think Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, and GW Bush fit that prototype perfectly.

Unfortunately, we've had presidents that have not been right wing, but have jumped on the happy bandwagon of extremist capitalism, whose only intent is to enrich the already-rich and corporations, at the expense of everyone else.

And that's how we got here.

Dr Hare created the test to identify Psychopaths, it is the standard tool used in prisones world wide. he he talks a lot about most Psychopaths not being in prison, and politics being the place where their needs would be most provided.

i got the book because a Psychopath lives next door, and i work with a couple.

this is a Must Read Survival book.. i kid you not!!

6. many of them are still spouting myths
1. the tax cuts actually increased revenue

a. They 'prove' this by looking at total revenues and inflated dollars. Thus FICA tax revenues go up and cover up the fact that income tax revenues went down. Plus with 8% inflation tax revenues might go from $600 billion to $630 billion and they will point to that as an increase, ignoring the fact that the $630 is only $583 in REAL (inflation adjusted) dollars.

2. The Reagan and Bush deficits were caused by increased SPENDING - not by tax cuts

a. Even many DUers will make that claim, arguing that Bush spent like a drunken frat boy and that's how we got all this debt.

3. What about the loopholes? Many people believe that back in the day, nobody really paid those higher marginal tax rates because of all the loopholes. Unfortunately, I do not have tax statistics that go back before 1986, but I do have data that shows the top 1% have paid a smaller share of their income in taxes since 1986, particularly since 2002, after that share went up during the Clinton years.

10. Bu$h43 was a drunken Frat Boy.. spent like one too, but tax cuts inflamed everything
Just one Bu$h43 tax cut cost well over 1.5 Trillion dollars in 10 yeqrs, ., Iraq alone will cost at least 3 Trillion, the needless loss and injury of our soldiers will never be known
