that left 6 people dead including a 9 year old girl, and wounded 12 other people?

I would feel like shit. I'm sure many of them feel like shit over it but the natural defense reaction when you know you're responsible is to come out swinging and blaming other people. The "they do it so we can do it" defense ALWAYS indicates guilt. Even if we have threatened or whatever (which I don't believe we have), it was one of THEIRS who followed through and killed a bunch of people who weren't even the target.

Let them spin their defense as much as they want, it just implicates them more. The truth will come out during this guy's trial with evidence they found at his house and on his computer, etc.

Don't fall into their trap. I'm angered and disgusted and I've shed tears over this, but I won't let them see it. Just stay calm and keep pointing your fingers at them. They want to rile us up so that we will retaliate. That's the only thing that will make them feel better is if we do the same thing - the "they do it so we can do it" defense.

1. As upsetting as this was, I have adopted a calming mantra
Dear Faux, Teabaggers, Palin, Bachmann, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Coulter, O'Reilley, et al - YOU OWN THIS.

2. good post

Any of those who went along "for the fun of it" aren't having much fun now.

The comments by Tina King and others over the weekend (on palin's facebook page) - that it was ok for Christina Taylor Green to die because "maybe she would grow up to be a liberal - wouldn't you have killed Hitler as a child?" make me acutely aware, however, that there are some real sick people on the "conservative" side.

They have no problem killing children of their political opponents.

This is NOT just "harmless rhetoric." It's a death fetish, a murderous outlook - even TOWARDS OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN - that must be confronted.
