Every where I went today all I heard how insane and mentally ill the shooter was and how the Democrats have gotten rid of the safety net that would have helped this person.
The Democrats need to run with this and declare this is the perfect reason that everyone in this country needs health care to stop things like this happening again. Everyone would have the resources to help mentally ill get the help they need.

3. That is perfectly correct! Actually, Reagan started that in California, when

he was governor there! He started to close all the mental health facilities and "freed" people. . . .to the street. . .with nothing prepared to support them, no real mental health help, no housing, nothing!

It took year (and it's still going on) to set up a system to help the "freed" mental health patients in California to obtain services! And because of the budget cuts. . .this process will probably take many steps backward!

Obama had nothing to do with all this. . .a decent health care reform (preferably with public option) would have been the best way to help people who experience mental health problems. . .Republicans would never go for that!

5. I was just passing on what I was hearing today

They were complaining about no safety net for these people and they were blaming the dems for that.

I just like to use their words against them so either they have to eat their words or be forced to give in to something they claim they do not want.
