Sheriff Dupnik, in an interview with the Couric woman, on the NBC national news.

The sheriff isn't backing down one damned bit from his initial sentiments.

I stand with Sheriff Dupnik.

They attack like rabid dogs. No one stands a chance against their rhetoric.

I too stand with Sheriff Dupnik, his is a true patriot.

Some of our political figures need to take a lesson from Sheriff Dupnik and start fighting back against the hate and lies.

12. God, yes.
Imagine if people stood up to the hate, rather than caving in and trying to compromise with the bullies.

10. So where are the right-wingers to remind us that he knows a lot that we don't?
Edited on Mon Jan-10-11 07:46 PM by Bjorn Against
It seems like whenever there is police action against activists on the left the right-wing is always there to defend the police infiltration of leftist organizations by telling us that "the police have a lot of information that we don't". In this case however they don't seem quite so willing to acknowledge that this sheriff may just know a lot of information about the suspect that the rest of us don't, he has however spent the last two days focused on looking over every last piece of evidence that he can find. I think he probably has gotten a pretty good idea of the political figures that influenced the shooter.

20. The interview I heard...
... he stated that he had no evidence that the shooter was influenced by anything political but he was merely stating an opinion about the way things are in America and how he would like them to be different.

The guy is a politician first and law enforcement in a distant second.

Is it oxymoronic to say he's speaking truth to power, in power? Speaking truth in power, I guess, that's all too rare.
