1. "You are dead to me" has a different meaning. It means you're no longer

my friend or my relative. I won't maintain a relationship with you.

It does not mean I'm going to kill you or even that I think you should be killed.

It just means that I'm not going to talk to you or maintain any relationship. I'm going to shun you.
