2 more fake companies donated millions to Romney
byRock Strongo

It turns out that two other companies have done something very similar for Mitt, yet it appears only one station has reported it, and that is a local Fox affiliate of all places.
http://www.fox13now.com/news/local/kstu-mitt-romney-2-utah-companies-donate-1-million-apiece-to-romney-campaign-20110804,0,4424937.story

Sound familiar?:

A political committee tied to Mitt Romney received two separate $1 million donations from companies located in Provo, but the companies don't appear to do any substantial business.

http://www.fox13now.com/...

How about this?:

The giant sums of money is surprising enough, but Eli Publishing and F8 LLC don't seem to do any business. They incorporated with the state, but they have no presence on the internet and when Fox 13 went to their address, we found only an accounting firm whose employees weren't aware of the companies' activities.

30. You haven't? I've heard that rumor for YEARS,
and I've never spent any more time in Texas than it took to change planes, so it can't exactly be a tightly held local secret.

39. yanno, it's sad. it appears that gay men here in tx have so much
church pressure (baptist or otherwise extremely controilling) family pressure and texas man pressure that they have to be in the closet. think brokeback mountain. the young gen in HS is very different -0 thank god-- at least here in the middle-to upper middle class subs of houston. but for the 50 and over guys, it's sad, false, and heartbreaking.

41. Well, they dated for 16 years before they married
Seems like that would be the first clue.

I was in Austin in early 2006 when everybody was buzzing about Anita moving out after catching him and the Tx Secy of State in a hot tub at the Governor's mansion. Word on the street was that she had even retained an attorney, but GOP big-money donors literally took her out in the Gulf of Mexico on a yacht and it was rumored they agreed to pay her off for her silence, and it all died back down. That was back in the day when the whole Jeff Gannon/GWB and the TX GOP "gay mafia" rumors were percolating.

40. They never liked Romney. He's got "compromise" written all over his face.
I have to say that, even as an agnostic, his "I really AM a Christian!" speech in 2008 that the Wackos made him do wanted to make me puke.

I guess it made me feel sorry for him a little.

The fact is that I feel that Romney is the *least* crazy of the pack, and that's what they're afraid of.

They LIKE crazy.

15. Hey, Mitt. Doesn't obeying your religion require more than underwear?
He lied about his residency to become Governor of Massachusetts, too.

Lied about marching with Martin Luther King.

Lied about his reaction to the Mormon Church's changing its policy about African Americans.

And how about claiming he save "the Olympics," when all he did was get the Utah Winter Olympics into better financial shape.

Plenty of religion. No moral compass.

18. And let me guess: Mitt doesn't know anything about no million dollar donations
As if there's nothing strange about someone anonymously giving you a million bucks. Hey, just stuff it in your pocket, and don't ask no questions. Nobody knows anything, and least of all whether the wealthy folks pungling up this dough have any expectation at all of getting something back. Why, I'm sure this money is from totally patriotic citizens happily participating in the election system with no ulterior motive.

How about this: I say the money is from a foreign terrorist organization. Maybe even from Al Qaeda. Prove me wrong, Mitt. Otherwise, explain why you're taking money from terrorists.

20. what a joke he is. sorry, the only way someone other than Obama gets in office is if it's a
decently known Democratic primary challenger because so many people are angry that they bring in someone else. The chance of that are not likely. However, he needs a primary challenge to wake him up. He either isn't a progressive or is a horrible negotiator.

Or some religious organization in Salt Lake City.

46. Campaign finance reform......
It' useless to try and regulate contributions. Too many loopholes to donate more. Too many ways to buy a candidate. So here's my proposal. Only regulate campaign spending. Limit spending to $5M for anyone. Limiting the spending would save me some tv watching sanity too :)
