A Council Bluffs man who was spotted naked on West Broadway is accused of having sexual contact with a cat before throwing it to its death from a seventh-floor window.

Witnesses called police to an apartment building in near West Broadway and South 4th Street just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

They told officers that a man had exposed himself in front of the window and at some point threw out a cat.

Council Bluffs Police Sgt. Chad Meyers said officers found the cat dead on the sidewalk outside the apartment building. Officers saw the open windows and were able to determine which apartment the cat fell from.

It's bad for my mental health to read stuff like this. I definitely think it deserves to be in the felony category. I hope that cat got his claws in some flesh before he was thrown to his death.
