I not certain but I believe the president traditionally uses several pens, each one for a part of his signature, and these are given out as mementos.

DU has seriously gone down hill these last couple years. Seems like once bush the lesser was gone many here turned on our own President. Obama always plays the "compromise" card, the "bipartisan" card - even though it always means repukes get the upper hand and we get screwed.

I would HOPE that this lonely signing might help him CHANGE the way he deals with these arrogant, uncompromising partisan hacks.

By the way, where are all the "global warming" naysayers this summer? They're all about how there can't be "global warming" because, you know, it SNOWS in New York and Washington, D.C., in the middle of WINTER and all that. So even in their mistaken "logic" it would stand to reason that hot-as-hell summers would SUPPORT the "global warming" theory, right? But not a peep.
