Antigay Group Sends Misleading Absentee Ballots in Wisc. Recall Elections
A Wisconsin antigay group with ties to the Family Research Council is accused of sending misleading absentee ballot applications to voters in the state’s recall elections next week, the Minnesota Independent reports.

In conjunction with Americans for Prosperity, the group Wisconsin Family Action, which in the past has fought in court against the state’s domestic partnership registry, sent out absentee ballots to two districts in the recall elections of Republican lawmakers with a printed return deadline of August 11 — two days after the actual state deadline.

1. There should be a reset button on that election date.
There is too much crap happening around it. A new date, giving people time to relocate headquarters where they were burnt down, invalidating all the old ballots with false dates on them, and start new with more restrictions.

3. Actually, arrests should be made for election fraud.
This saddens me more than anything else going on to date. Debbie Wasserman-Schulz (sp?) was on a talking head last night saying the DoJ
was "looking into it." She wasn't very emphatic about it, though, in my opinion...

5. This happens every election.
SURELY you can't expect people to do something as DIFFICULT as proofread TWO NUMBERS on a piece of paper that determines the outcomes of ENTIRE ELECTIONS! Why, that'd be crazy!
:sarcasm:

Throw these bastards in jail. Prison. Better yet...throw the in rural West Virginia with the rest of their ilk then wall them in. I've about had enough of this 'family group' shit.

6. It baffles me why this isn't a felony. Isn't tampering with elections a felony?
Do we have to start tarring and feathering these motherfuckers? Is that what it's going to take? Hunting down each individual Republicrook and removing them from public power and respect, one at a time? Zombie hunters with chainsaws and machetes?

I wouldn't stop withe bosses - every single person working for the organization that did this ought to be charged with as many crimes as the law can possibly be stretched to justify.

I want to see tens of thousands of these bastards facing decades in prison, nothing less. At least as many as there is pot smokers or environmentalists in prison.
