The analogy between climate change and political/economic change
Both are being affected by the extremes, but the gradual movement of the average toward a system that is unsustainable for the majority is being driven by a refusal to recognize and act on the causes. The exact same players that want to deny climate change to avoid paying for the necessary adjustments are the very ones that are corrupting the political and economic worlds as well. The sooner we wake up to the need to rein in unfettered commerce, the better our chances to survive as a planet. It's already too late to avoid the wrenching affects, but if we don't act soon, we are likely to see massive deaths due to extreme weather and climate in addition to global poverty all to favor those that already have too much power and privilege.

It's no coincidence that the powers behind the extreme right also benefit from denying climate change, they are the only ones that will profit from a ruined planet and worldwide economic ruin ruled by draconian dictators.
