3. I'm starting to cringe when I hear certain words and phrases coming from the Administration.
You know like you know you're getting ready to get nailed in the head by a frying pan or something.....

6. You seem to be doing pretty good. For example, you own a PC.
You have internet access.
You own a comfortable chair!

14. yea I'm really, really, really rich.
Love how having a few things means you're fabulously wealthy.

We do own our home which is fortunate as it makes for one less bill (HUGE bill) that has to be paid. It does provide a certain amount of financial freedom. Problem is, the steel fabrication business has gone to hell with everything else in this economy. So that financial freedom is imaginary. How we came to own our home was because we lost everything 6 years ago when our house just short of burnt to the ground on Thanksgiving night. Lost pets, clothing, appliances, precious photos, everything but were lucky and blessed to have our lives. 3 generations lived in that house. We did have homeowners insurance but we had to fight 2.5 long years to receive justice from our skank insurance company (which I would love to name here but would probably be against DU rules). I have no idea where we'd be right now if it weren't for that.

Not rich but very, very fortunate and just barely keeping head above the waterline.

Satisfied?

20. Hey! I'm sitting on a 20-year-old piece of rent-to-own furniture
and using a 7-year-old laptop. I am stinking rich! (Or maybe I just need some Febreeze for the chair.)

15. Wow, how dare she! And that, right there, is the attitude
of those in charge of this country right now. Would you like her to be homeless without anything? What exactly was your point?

They won't be happy until everyone is too poor to oppose them and willing to work for peas.

Those are remnants from when we had a "Democratic Party" that represented the Working Class & The Poor.
All that is now On the Table.

Cherish your memories, SUCKERS!

23. That means the middle class will get shafted by means testing so that the plutocrats can avoid ...

....paying income taxes.

"Means testing" of Medicare will crush the middle class, while for plutocrats "Means testing" will be insignificant, especially when compared to the billions they save in income taxes, thanks to the stealing of the Social Security Trust Fund to pay for deficits in the General Fund.
