CGD worried about Congress cutting US foreign assistance, but they asked for it

The Center for Global Development has been an anti-Millennium Development Goals (anti Jeff Sachs) and sort of anti aid critic but pro-development. Yet currently they are lamenting the fact that there will be cuts to US aid budgets. Ironic?

1. Well, I'm sure a little something can get added for CGD

There's lots and lots of money floating around out there, and steering a few millions to CGD won't even make the House Republicans break a sweat. Who's going to notice, anyway? And if they do notice, what are they going to do? And if they are going to do something, when will they do it? Because if it isn't something 100% sure-fire happening today, that's plenty of time for whoever messes with the system to cover his tracks or deny any part in their crime.
