And the ratings agency downgrade threats passes... (why am I not surprised)
Well, technically we still need to hear from S&P. But Moody's and Fitch have both released statements (per MSNBC) and say that they will not downgrade the U.S.'s credit rating.
I'm sure S&P is holding out to complete the dramatic effect.
Who thought this was ever a genuine threat, despite the fore-mentioned requirement of $4.3 Trillion in cuts?
