Isn't privatization a Republican ideal?
I'm confused here, I thought it was the republicans who want to privatize everything, for various reasons, mostly to help out the bottom line and CEO salaries to squeeze out as much profits as possible.

Is it now becoming a Democratic aim now with Obama to push for privatization? Is the government now the enemy of both the GOP and Democrats and they are agreed it needs to be cut down to size?

1. It's a neoliberal ideal.
That ideology is not partisan.

4. Third way...and the third way has taken over the party
So it is now a democratic ideal too. They will not put it in the platform though... See how many of the old base keeps voting.

5. NO, a thousand times no. Privatization is the ideal of corportists.
This isnt a fight between Republicans and Democrats. Is a war between Corporatists and We the People.
The Republican/Democrat fight is a distraction.
