Let The Budget Cutting Start With The Red States/Districts First
Their Reps are the people who pushed for the cuts, so let the cuts start with their states and districts.

Yeah, I know, impossible to be that targeted.

You - like most of the other posters to this thread - are making an assumption, and an illogical assumption to boot.

The point is that fewer progressives would be hurt initially if red districts were the first to feel the pain. In fact, the big boy thing to do would be for Boner et al to offer up their districts to be first in line for the cuts, since they claim to be enacting the "will of the people."

But we all know that isn't what will happen - Boner et al are busy right now figuring out how they can exempt their districts from draconian cuts. That's in keeping with their mantra that it's "those others" who are the problem, not their constituencies.
