Some questions...
Given that the GOP controls the House with a massive majority and can filibuster the Senate at any given time, how do you think that Obama can push them all out of the way and get things done the way that you would prefer things to be done?

Would you rather that Obama push for the most liberal/progressive results possible, even if he gets absolutely nothing in return because of gridlock? What's to be gained by that?

Is this glass half full or half empty?

1. Well if water represents tax increases and air budget cuts, I'd say the glass is bone dry...

2. No .... Now is the time to STOP legislation, using the Senate as a backstop ...
And begin the 2012 campaign in earnest .... Beginning with advertising the dangerous antics of the Tea Party .....

They are a scary bunch, and we need to promote the image of their reckless ego, willing to overturn the entire world economy for the sake of their own extreme policies ....

FUCK legislation at this point - nothing good will come of it ...... The Tea Party needs to go ....

6. Too complicated. Just tell all seniors, and future seniors, even those
who support(ed) the Tealibans, that if they ever vote for them again, they can kiss their 'entitlements' goodbye forever.

That's about all needs to be told to them. Oh, and tell them they have to GOTV too... (if their votes will ever count...).

8. It is easy to paint monsters ....

We should do it more often ....

BTW: There is no one single thing that needs to be done ..... thousands of things need to be said and done ....

EDIT: What is too complicated ? ... STOPPING legislation is too complicated ? .... Saying the Tea Party is dangerous is too complicated ? ....

I am not following your logic .. please explain ...

7. Anything less than bone dry is not automatically half or a quarter or even a sixteenth.
Apparently bone dry is the only time a motherfucker can get some water in this hole, so bone dry is better than apparent moisture that cannot quite be formed into a solitary drop to be drank.

Bring on the gridlock it beats losing ground and all sight of any goals.

11. It's completely empty in my opinion.
We did little if anything of substance when we had control of all three branches. We're check mated unless you believe in the so called compromise approach. We're facing austerity economics ahead with no exits.
