What could possibly change the trajectory we are on?

1. A little over 10 years ago my 7th grandchild was born and I had
such hope.

The oldest is approaching college and I fear for them all.

What the hell are they going to do?

2. Keep fighting - lets just hope they have something worth fighting for!
Both my kids are in college. My daughter and 26 other college kids got arrested last year using civil disobedience (i.e.blocked a logging road) to try and change the world.

While I wish she choose a legal form of protest, she was willing to spend some time in jail and have an arrest record because she was passionate enough to try and make a difference. I admire that and believe that even if it takes the level of discontent we saw in the 60's, eventually - there will be balance restored.

I must be an optimist for my children and your grandchildren!!!

4. Speaking of "economic royalists," FDR said he welcomed their hatred
and got social security enacted into law. BHO has, in effect, agreed to shield the economic royalists, who have been in a feeding frenzy at the public welfare trough for most of the last 30 years, from any of the shared sacrifice and rather, to throw grandma (the old, frail, and poor) under the bus: doubting Thomases will be privileged to see all this play out as already orchestrated when the future cuts are being made imo and: it will not be a bit hard to connect all the dots. :patriot:
