Can anyone tell me the Bill number that just passed the House?
There have been several versions of the bill floating around, which specific bill was voted on tonight?

Anyone know?

Because the devil is the details, and I want to look it up.

You can look it up, too, soon as we know the number:

4. S. 365 is a Senate bill.
The one that passed the House should be H something...

also, S. 365 is NOT the bill about the budget. S. 365 was passed Feb. 17, 2011.
The entire text reads:

AN ACT

To make a technical amendment to the Education Sciences Reform Act of 2002.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. TECHNICAL AMENDMENT TO EDUCATION SCIENCES REFORM ACT OF 2002.

Section 174(e)(1)(A) of the Education Sciences Reform Act of 2002 (20 U.S.C. 9564(e)(1)(A)) is amended by inserting ‘, subject to 1 extension of not more than 12 months, at the Secretary’s discretion, for any contract in effect on, or entered into after, January 1, 2011’ after ‘period’.

Passed the Senate February 17, 2011.

Attest:

NANCY ERICKSON,

Secretary.

5. S. 365 is showing again, and it is NOT the bill.
Even Thomas.gov is showing the wrong bill:

ok, apologies.

Seems a weird title for a budget bill.
But, nothing is straightforward anymore up there, is it?
