Pelosi is a Yes
She is making it clear she dislikes the bill, but as we remember from the health care bill, a yes is a yes and a no is a no. It little matters why. They all count for the same.

2. Quantitatively, yes
But now Republicans who stand with their leader are also standing with Nancy Pelosi. That will cost them some votes.

It's optics. If the D's look more enthusiastic, harder to spin it as a crushing loss for the WH. Pelosi again is there for Obama. Be nice if he ever get/takes the chance to pay her back.

4. On the floor she just urged her colleagues to vote yes on the bill but would respect their decision....
if they voted no.

6. They should have given her more time to read the bill that hasn't been written yet.
Before she rushed over the edge to endorse it.

8. She goes along for all of this stuff.
She's always a reliable yes vote for whatever the WH comes up with.
