My letter to Schumer, Gillibrand, and my congress-person
I wanted to keep it short. They know the issues. __________________________________________________
Dear Senator xxxxxxx, I am a Democratic supporter of you and the president. I am not a tea partier that wants to crash the economy. Please vote against the debt framework deal the president described on Sunday 8/1/11. It is a bad deal and is not in line with Democratic principles. Besides that, the debt ceiling should stand on it's own. Pass a clean bill as has been done in the past. I strongly encourage you to VOTE AGAINST the Boehner-McConnell debt deal.
