What would Howard Dean have done?
He sure as hell wouldn't have put SS and Medicare on the block, you can bet your ass on that!

Would Hillary have done anything different? I'd like to think so but seeing her and Bill's ties to the DLC prolly not.

I bet Mister Dean would have invoked Harry Truman and stood up to the fascist rethugs, invoked the 14th amendment and told them all to GO TO HELL!

Damn are there ANY DEMOCRATS left in this country who give a shit about the working class, the old, the disabled?

It sure feels better having a friends knife in your back instead of your enemy eh??:sarcasm:

6. Actually, Howard Dean put "key domestic programs" aka. on the table "for budget cutting" in 2003.
Edited on Sun Jul-31-11 09:06 PM by ClarkUSA
"During Sunday night’s debate among the Democratic presidential candidates in Detroit, Howard Dean again refused to take key domestic programs off the table for budget-cutting... Just last week, Dean told the Des Moines Register that he "favors balancing the federal budget in part by limiting growth of entitlement programs." Dean said, "We’re going to have to limit the growth of entitlement programs." (Beaumont, Des Moines Register, 10/19/03)"

Of course Howard Dean has never been as liberal as many imagine him to be.

13. No one ever checks how Dean governed.
Howard Dean is not some Far Leftist, by any measurement...his positions and Mr. Obama's are very similar.

But, the mythos here is that he is a Socialist/Leftist instead of the Moderate/Centrist he actually is.

OK, so:

I want to know the rest of the story.

What would have happened after Dean "told them all to GO TO HELL!!"?

Anxiously awaiting more details... :woohoo:
