Surprise, America! When You Elect A Bunch Of Extremists Who Insist That "Government Doesn't Work"
Government. Doesn't. Work.

:patriot:

Think they'll actually learn something from this?

6. Americans are Getting the Government they Voted For In November
or in the case of dems, the government we DIDN'T vote for since we decided to stay home las November. We have been complaining ever since but rarely have I seen comments that assign any of the blame to this fact. Kicked and rec'd.

3. Self-fulfilling Prophecy is a very valid & reliable & extremely powerful trait of Social Psychology,
especially when people are manipulating it with primary reinforcers, a.k.a. brainwashing with propaganda.

5. The extremists will learn that they were right and gain confidence from the knowledge.
I know, using knowledge in reference to the teapugs is some kind of malapropism, but what can ya do?

9. This is why so many southern states are convinced that government
Edited on Sat Jul-30-11 06:22 PM by jwirr
is bad. Ever since the 60s they have been electing anti-government leaders who do everything in their power to destroy services, etc. Now that most of those states do have bad government they have pushed the idea national via rush and com. and Falwell and his church and here we are.

Even here in MN where we were doing very well they have managed to turn enough people against the government to elect a Tbagger congress and Pawlenty before that.

Edited to say that I am not blaming the south for this whole mess but just as an example of how it happens. When we elect leaders we had better first find out what they are all about.

10. What kind of person would do anything to let Rapture Ready Republicans be elected to public office?
Think about that?

It is like those voters have a death wish.
