I saw him last night on O'Liely and he presented a fundamentally different position concerning his new book than he did tonight on The Daily Show. How can a guy peddle a book about honest debate be that transparently dishonest?
He 'played' the role of both 'liberal' and token black guy on Fox.
He also played the role of liberal black guy on NPR until he demonstrated outright bigotry.
NPR must maintain a degree of credibility. Their right leaning commentary can't be too overt or they would lose the audience they are trying to propagandize. Juan's comments were a threat to this.
But often NPR's commentary goes way over the line into Fox News territory. This is what happens when one starts to believe their own propaganda.
