"He'd much rather go mano a mano with Jim Beam." (Mike Irwin)

18. That's exactly what I took from this. "Why do I have to be the one? It's well past happy hour, and
my face is still only the sober shade of orange. Somethin is not right here, Cantor!"

8. Then why do it?
Boner is always out in front of the camera whining about some shit. Maybeif he doesn't like his job he can just retire to the country club and drink and play golf all day.

THat's pretty much what he does anyway.

10. Then what did he sign up for?
Going mano a mano with the President, if he's of a different Party, is the Speaker's job.

22. It doesn't have to be

It's possible to imagine a reality-based government in which the actors may differ on how to achieve the same set of goals. But our problem now is that we can't seem to get consensus on what the goals are.

He is a LOSER and a LIAR.

23. Actually, that is a part of his job description in our modern political system.
If he wants that to change, he needs to end the partisan politics which now rule. Otherwise, he needs to suck it up and continue to be the leader/messenger of the Republican ruled House which is currently set on a default.

29. I thought that was kind of one of the jobs of the speaker of the house
especially within the GOP. He's not very good at it though. He doesn't have the scariness Newt or that bug killer had.

You got elected to the job as Speaker. If you can't deal with it, and all the tears that come with it, then quit - just retreat to your Merlot and Bushmills, or whatever the hell else you use to bring on your crying jags, and leave governing to a real adult. Sorry fucker.

36. I think there is a good possibility that orange man will want to spend more time with family
and up and resign any day now. He's pretty much newt'd himself already and we know how that one turned out. The voters turned the newtster out to pasture the first chance they got after he jumped the shark like boner now has.
Boehner will resign shortly is my prediction.

He had to be pissed at the tea party when he said that. Obama gave him credit for not being one of them then he gave a speech full of tea party talking points.

41. "mano a mano" means "hand to hand."
Spanish is a funny language. The ropa isn't rope and the sopa isn't soap.
And the butter is "meant to kill ya."
