I don't care what the tea party response is. They are lunatics. What's up with that?

5. The tea party is more a minority in Congress than the Progressive Caucus
The MSM treats the TP'ers like a separate legitimate political party instead of a tiny minority within the GOP.

7. Then why do they have so much clout?
The Progressive Caucus has none.

6. Because, sadly ...
... they are framing this debate.

They are lunatics, but Pres. Obama agrees with them on cutting spending deeply -- so why are you surprised that they are given time on MSNBC to state their viewpoint?

Frankly, all I know after the two speeches tonight is that our federal government IS dysfunctional ... and we regular folks are all going to pay, pay, pay.
