One thing I think we can be sure of about the Dominionists and theocrats

because they've made it a part of their ideology since the days of Constantine (in its own form):

They will blame the problems of the nations/world on the anger of God at the practice of Church/State separation as we conceive it (not the medieval type where Church and State each had their own specific sphere but with the power of coercion intact, a distinction without any real difference other than who did the convicting and who did the actual killing/maiming, etc).

We live in perilous times; beware of demagogues claiming to have the answer.
