Check out my FB page Protests around America. It's not that the people are not protesting, it is just that the media is ignoring them. If one tea partier shows up they get coverage, where thousands or progressives are invisible. Scott Walker has to change his schedule to avoid protesters who greet him everywhere he goes.
We are getting F@#$%d because we have a president with no backbone. We have a Republican party who has taken over the country and is taking hostages, shutting down states, government agencies, wreaking havoc and not being held accoutable by ANYONE. If Bush had to pay for his war crimes maybe they would not be so bold.
But I do hear your frustration. I was kind of hoping you had a Lawrence O'Donnell theory where this was all just a ploy and that we really would not be caving to the demands of the psychopaths in Congress.
I think a lot of so -called Democrats are in on this too. They all get money from lobbyists. We are just the fools who get the good "I will put on a pair of comfortable shoes" speech when election times comes around.
