Obama just waltzed into a 2nd term.
The GOPs single-mindedness in opposing Obama just handed him a 2nd term. Our citizens have become fully aware of the game the GOP is playing and it's about damn time.

2. if the economy
goes into the dumps, people will blame the sitting president.

If the USA and by extension, Canada - goes into a Depression(And God I hope not) - I'm sure people will be burning Obama's effigy in the streets.

4. Frankly, I think the President was lucky that Boehner walked out.
I also think the President was been swamped with opposition to his past presentations of the situation. Whatever. I think day was a very good turn of events for President Obama no matter how it came to be.
